If a contact requests that you stop all communication, here’s how to set them as Do Not Disturb (DND) in WootRecruit. This ensures they are removed from all workflows and will no longer receive emails, texts, or calls from your system.

How to Set a Contact as DND in WootRecruit

  1. Open the Applicant’s Profile

    ✅ Click Applicants in the side panel. ✅ Select the contact you want to update.

  2. Locate the DND Settings

    • Scroll down the left-hand section of their profile to find the DND area.
  3. Apply DND to All Channels

    • Click DND All Channels to block all outbound communication.
    • Optionally, also select Inbound Calls and Inbound Texts if you want to fully block both directions.
  4. Confirm the Change

    • Once set, the contact is removed from all workflows and will not receive any outbound messaging.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Use DND sparingly and only when a contact explicitly requests no further communication.
  • Applying DND is the most reliable way to comply with opt-out requests and avoid accidental contact.
