If you want to quickly and accurately track whether an applicant showed up for their interview, here’s exactly how to do it—plus how the system automatically marks applicants as no-shows. This is ideal for both in-person and remote interview setups.

📅 How to Mark Applicants as “Showed Up”

  1. Use the QR Code for In-Person Interviews

✅ Go to Dashboard Links in your side panel.

✅ Click Sign-In QR Code to open it.

✅ Right-click and print it out (most people put it in a dollar-store frame or inside the hiring booklet as the first page).

✅ Place it where applicants can scan it upon arrival—this automatically timestamps their profile and updates their interview status from Confirmed to Showed.

  2. Default No-Show Process

    • If an applicant does not sign in, the system waits 24 hours before automatically marking them as No Show.
    • You can override this manually by marking them as Showed Up on their profile or in the calendar within that 24-hour window.
  3. Marking “Showed Up” Manually

    • For remote or special-case interviews, open the calendar, click the dropdown for the interview, and select Mark as Showed Up.
  4. Leverage Automation for Remote or Stacked Interviews

    • Use automated text reminders (e.g., 10 minutes before the interview) with a link for applicants to confirm attendance.
    • When they click the link, the system stamps their profile and updates the status automatically—no manual work required.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • If you disable the auto no-show feature, be prepared for extra manual cleanup in your hiring flow.
  • Using the QR code or automated attendance confirmation ensures accurate records and saves time.

Done! Your applicant’s attendance is now recorded accurately, and no-shows are handled automatically.
