If you’re using the phone system in the WootRecruit Hub to make outbound calls to applicants or other contacts, you can add two quick, free registrations to make your calls look more legitimate and trustworthy. This helps improve call answer rates and ensures your phone number appears professionally to recipients.

How to Validate Your Phone Number for Outbound Calls in the WootRecruit Hub

🔑 Access the Settings Tab

  • Log in to the WootRecruit Hub.
  • Go to the bottom left-hand corner of your dashboard.
  • Click Settings.

📞 Open the Phone Numbers Tab

  • Inside Settings, click Phone Numbers.
  • Navigate to the Trust Center tab.

🛡 Enable Shaken and Stir Registration

  • Look for the option called Shaken and Stir.
  • This helps validate your outbound phone number so recipients are more likely to answer.
  • Click to start the registration.
  • Since your business registration info is already on file, it should only take a minute or two.
  • Submissions are usually approved within minutes.

🏷 Register Your Caller ID Name (CNAM)

  • Still in the Trust Center, find the Caller ID Name (CNAM) registration option.
  • This displays your business name alongside your phone number when making calls.
  • Keep the name concise so it doesn’t get cut off (use an abbreviated version if needed).
  • Submit your request — it’s free and quick, just like Shaken and Stir.

Confirm and Save

  • Once both registrations are submitted, they will process automatically.
  • You’ll receive confirmation once each is active.
  • These enhancements should be ready in just a few minutes.

Important Notes 📝

  • Complete A2P registration first so outbound texting is enabled.
  • Both Shaken and Stir and CNAM are optional but highly recommended for improving trust and answer rates.
  • Always use a clear and professional Caller ID name for best results.
